Need to extend your project? An extension occurs when a client chooses to expand the scope of an engagement with the Expert on a project. To extend a project, you will need to request a new formalized offer of services. If you do not need to extend a project, a project extension has run through completion, or you are finished working with the Expert, you can go back and mark the project as complete.
Requesting an Extension
By requesting an extension, the Expert will be prompted to submit a proposal for your review. An extension is recommended when there is additional scope and budget needed to complete the project.
To request an extension:
1. Go to Applicable Project's Workspace
2. Click on View Workspace
3. Click on Extend Project
4. Click on Extend Engagement

Clients will have the option to request a revision or accept the proposal. Once the proposal is accepted, the expert will receive a notification to sign the project agreement
To review the extension proposal:
1. Go to Your Project
2. Click on View Details
3. Review Extension Proposal
4. Click Either Accept Proposal or Ellipsis Icon for More Options
5. Click on Accept & Proceed To Contracting
